Congratulations to our first OnlineHS Student of the Month for the 2018-2019 school year: Malin Margeirsdottir.
Malin is a junior at Jackson High School. This is her first semester with OnlineHS and she is excelling in Junior English & PE111.
She quickly captured the eye of her online instructors in the first month of school.
Her online English 301 teacher, Laura Wight had this to say:
Malin has jumped right into her online course and is working ahead. She communicates well with her teacher, reads and watches all content and demonstrates mastery of skills in her work. She also goes above and beyond in class discussions and invites classmates to get involved.
PE instructor Tanya Huber quickly shared: “Malin is a great communicator!”
Malin says
I am very thankful for having the opportunity to do OnlineHS this year. The reason why this works for me is that I can work at my own pace and I can plan ahead so that I can have more free time to do other activities outside of school. This also gives me the opportunity to be more productive since I get to do this without anyone interrupting me. OnlineHS has been very helpful for me and I would recommend it to anyone who wants flexibility or someone who just wants to work in peace.
Congratulations & Thanks to Malin!
