Congratulations to Cascade High School junior Tyson Kim– November 2018 OnlineHS Student of the Month!
He is taking his first OnlineHS course this Fall semester, enrolling in the Psychology course.
I’m taking Psychology because I find it interesting to evaluate our brains and how they work
His Psychology teacher Kevin Corbett has only glowing praise for Tyson.
I’m very impressed with Tyson and the maturity he exhibits beyond his years. Rarely do I find a student who is willing or able to be so deeply introspective and articulate their personal reflections as they relate to a concept or subject matter.
And, just recently we had a fantastic exchange where I challenged him with some critical feedback regarding a tough culminating presentation on Intelligence Data. He responded positively with some really difficult research analysis and wonderfully insightful conclusions.
When asked about what he likes best about the OnlineHS program and elearning, Tyson says
I find the concept of online classes to be very convenient, especially for those with busy schedules.
This opportunity allows
students to work at our ownpace, because not everyone learns things as quickly as others.
For me personally, I have been loving the experience of online learning. Being provided with a wide variety of sources to learn from, including videos, articles and different media sources, I’m never bored when learning new content!
OnlineHS opens the door to a wide amount of options for learning.
Congratulations Tyson Kim– OnlineHS Student of the Month for November 2018.
