Congratulations to Cascade High School’s Luna Rivera-Greene, March 2019 OnlineHS Student of Month!
Luna is a junior with the Everett Public School’s Cascade High. She is working on her goal of attending Community College as a first step to a career in teaching.
She has a variety of interests, including reading, binge-watching anime, Netflix and making YouTube videos. Luna is also a huge fan of anything Marvel and never misses an opportunity to go to the theater when the newest Marvel movie comes out.
When asked what she is most proud of she answered:
What I’m proud of in my life is getting the courage to do my school’s talent show every year. I love singing and performing, even though I have bad anxiety.
This is Luna’s third e-learning experience after beginning with an OnlineHS PE class last Summer.
Her OnlineHS English teacher Laura Wight says:
Luna is a determined online learning student. She advocates for what she needs to be successful and gives every assignment her all.
She took Cinema Visions first semester and is currently taking Creative Writing. Luna has a clear love for learning and improving her skills.
When asked what she likes best about online learning with OnlineHS she says
What I enjoy about Online High School is how simple it is. You don’t have to sit in a classroom listening to a boring lecture. You can pace yourself with each assignment and you can earn easy feedback.
The best part is you can even finish early before the school year is over!
We wish Luna continued success and congratulations as the March Student of the Month!
