Congratulations to Cascade High School Senior Brittney Davis, our OnlineHS Student of the Month.
English teacher Laura Wight says Brittney is an outstanding student currently enrolled in OnlineHS’s Creative Writing (ENG511) and Cinema Visions (ENG541/ 542) courses. She exemplifies the importance self-motivation and being a self-directed learner that is important for online learning and success in the 21st Century. In addition to her positive work ethic and exemplary communication in the digital workspace, she has worked ahead in both classes with plans to finish early!
“The reason why OnlineHS works really well for me is because I can work at my own pace. In my classes that I physically attend that aren’t online, I feel that the pace moves too slow and that if I were to just go at my own pace then I’d be able to learn a lot more things faster, and that’s something that I’m able to achieve with OnlineHS”, says Brittney.
“With OnlineHS it’s really easy for me to find my assignments, do them, and turn it them in. I really enjoy that for class discussions I can just talk to my OnlineHS teacher instead of having to wait for the other students to catch up, making it so I’m able to get full credit now, and if I end up making a mistake I can always go back to fix it.”
The Everett Public Schools and OnlineHS wishes Brittney continued success!
