Online HS is proud to announce Lukas Poischbeg as Student of the Month for February!
Lukas has taken 2 online courses with Online HS, and has excelled in the Online learning environment. He is thankful that online classes give him the option to work faster than he can in the face to face classroom. As an active person in school and community theater, he balances his many worlds with great success.
Lukas is a gifted communicator in the discussion board and on assignments. He furthers discussion by providing specific evidence and asking thought provoking questions. He completes assignments early going beyond the basic standards required.
Lukas is making the most of the opportunity to take classes online. This semester, he is taking both WalkFITT 2 and World History.
Congratulations, Lukas!
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
March 2018
Through the help of the OnlineHS program and the immense support I recieved at Everett High School, I graduated from both Everett High School and Everett Community College last spring with an Associates Degree in Arts and Sciences.
I am currently a junior at the University of Washington pursing degrees in Dance and Education, Communities, and Organizations.
In addition to my crazy schedule as a full-time student, I am a teaching artist currently teaching for Village Theatre KIDSTAGE. As well as being a teaching artist, I am a performing artist and have just finished performing in Village Theatre’s Mainstage production of Newsies.
I am a vegan, an activist, and mentor.
I attribute many of the skills I possesstoday to the OnlineHS program. The OnlineHS program allowed flexibility in my schedule so that I was able to peruse the careers that I have today, as well as provided me with skills such as time management, organization, and research-based writing and analysis.
Thank you for such an amazing program, it truly helped kickstart my future!
