The Tri-District Battle of the Books is part of the America’s Battle of the Books program, a national reading incentive program for elementary students in 3rd thru high school seniors.
Students read books and come together in groups to demonstrate and test their knowledge of the books they have read.
The student competitions are usually similar to popular TV shows, like: Family Feud or Whiz Kids styles of competitions.
The structure, format, and rules of the competitions may vary depending on the educational goals, student needs, local resources, and personal preferences at the various school sites.
