April 2018: Magnolia Telford

Congratulations to Maggie Telford, our April 2018 OnlineHS Student of the Month.

Maggie is a sophomore at Jackson High School and has a 4.0 overall GPA. She added an extra class OnlineHS World History class to her already busy schedule to get ahead of her requirements.  Maggie also takes advanced placement (AP) classes and will be in the Running Start program in the next two years, to get a jump on her college education.

At Jackson HS,  Maggie plays the tuba in one of the school bands and is also a varsity member of the Jackson HS Wrestling Team.  This past season, she qualified for the WIAA Girls State Wrestling Championships as a first-year wrestler.

OnlineHS instructor Sherm Iversen says “Maggie is very creative & thinks outside the box. It’s impressive that she consistently goes above and beyond any requirements–her work quality is amazing!”

Congratulations Magnolia!
